Enterprise data consent and authorisation
This Data Consent and Authorisation (“Consent”) is entered into between:
ProfileMe (Pty) Ltd (“Processor”)
Registration: 2019/207663/07
Pebble Beach Drive, Honeydew, Gauteng, South Africa
and
[Client Name – as indicated in the form below] (“Client”)
WHEREAS:
- The Client contracts with ProfileMe to deliver white-labelled user profile microsites and related services;
- ProfileMe will process and publicly display certain professional information relating to the Client’s authorised users;
- The Client acts as the Responsible Party or Data Controller under POPIA and/or the GDPR in respect of such information.
THE PARTIES AGREE AS FOLLOWS:
- Consent to Process and Display User Profiles
The Client authorises ProfileMe to process and publish, on its instruction and on its behalf, the following professional information relating to its users:
- Full name
- Job title and credentials
- Biography (“About Me”)
- Office contact details (email, phone, address)
- Profile photo
- Any other optional fields submitted by the user or the Client
This information will be publicly displayed on microsites hosted by ProfileMe under domains such as:
- profileme.app
- profileme.app/userid
These profiles are intended for public visibility to enable client access, discovery, and trust.
- Consent to Display Client Branding
The Client authorises ProfileMe to display its corporate branding, logos, and design elements on public user profiles as part of the white-labelled experience.
- Consent for Use in Marketing, Demonstration, or Portfolio
The Client may optionally allow ProfileMe to reference and display sample user profiles (excluding sensitive personal information) in:
- Product demonstrations to prospective clients
- Showcases or case studies
- LinkedIn or website portfolio displays
- Warranties and Legal Basis
The Client confirms it has obtained all necessary user consents, instructions, or contractual authorisations required for ProfileMe to lawfully process and display the above data in accordance with POPIA and/or the GDPR.
- Public Accessibility
The Client acknowledges that published profiles are publicly accessible, may be indexed by search engines, and can be shared freely by users or third parties. ProfileMe has no obligation to restrict such sharing unless expressly agreed.
